Have you ever seen an apocalyptic movie that ends somewhat vague? Have you wondered what happens after the world is destroyed and that handful of people survive? Well, so have I.

Here at New Dawn Rising, that's what we'll discover. The world as we know it has just been destroyed, leaving just one continent on the face of the earth. The human race has won, defeating an alien race that tried to exterminate our planet. Now the remaining survivors live in refugee camps all over, and one man tries to rebuild some sort of government. There are no states, no cities, and definitely no countries. We must regroup, rebuild, and try to survive in the chaos.

Autumn has arrived and the leaves are changing in most of Diluculo Novus. The heat of summer is fading and pleasant cool breezes take it's place. After a hot, dry summer, the first rains of Fall are welcome and water is more available to everyone.

Any new threads will take place in the fall as of 8/12. Old threads may continue in Summer.

It all started with two brothers who hated one another in the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. They shared a common love of basketball, and a common hate of their father. Time went on, they grew up, and they both fell in love. The Scott brothers will always be basketball legends at Tree Hill High School, their father a legend for his criminal ways. Fifty years have passed since the Scott Era ended and now the citizens of Tree Hill are suffering through the same problems. Family hatred, young pregnancies, loss of their homes.
